THE WOODSTOCK RUSH.
[By Tblbgbaph.J [bboh oub own cobbbspondbnt.] EOKITIKA, Maboh 28. Several more claims have bottomed on payable gold at the new rush. There are now eight or nine parties on payable gold, aud about tbree hundred miners on the field. The last claim bottomed ts-day was that of Duncan and party, who obtained 15 grains of coarse gold from four dishes of wash. Cur nick and party washed three and a quarter loads on Saturday, which yielded loz 17dwte, with five feet of wash. The rush is assuming quite a busy appearance, and miners generally are well satisfied with the prospects. Numbers of stores and shops are in course of erection on the ground, and coaohes for the rush are loaded daily. I have had information, on which I can thoroughly rely, that another claim has bottomed to-day on good gold. Four and a half dishes from the top of the waihdirt yielded 15 grains. The other claims are going on eatiefactorilv.
