OPENING OF PARLIAMENT.
WELLINGTON, Junb & ! Parliament was opened by His Excellency , the Governor in person at 2 o'clock, 18 mom--1 bers of the Legislative Council and 24 ut' the 1 House of Representatives being present, together with a large number of ladies. His Excellency the Governor worn the collar and robes of a Knight Grand Cross of the Ordor of St Michael and of St Goorge. The business at each Houbo was purely formal, and 1 adjournments were made until the following day.
