The Star Office, This Day. The land sales to-day amounted to 108 acres, as follows : — Mandeville district, 18 acres; Waipara, 20 do; Timaru, 2 do ; Malvern, 28 do; Upper Christchurch, 50. Messrs "Wilson and Alport sold by auction, at market, on Saturday, a small mob of quiet yearling heifers at £4 8s per head ; two-year old well-bred heifer, £9 2s 6d ; old cows, £5 to £6 ss ; two-year old bull, £6 ss ; bull calf, 20s. .
