SAILED. .. Dec. 10 — Linnet, ketch, for Christchurch, with 13,000 ft timber, Fraser and Brown. Dec, 10- -Wainui, ss., for Dunedin and intermediate ports, with 6 kegs butter, 6 cases cheese, J. D. Garwood ; 3 kegs butter, 4 cases cheese, J. Daly ; 4 crates cheese, Price and Aylmer ; 1 case pigs, T. Johnston ; 79 pieces timber, 8 hides, 1 cask tallow, 5 kegs butter, E. C. Latter. Passenger — Mrs Dack. : Dec. 1 1 — Challenge, schooner, for Timaru, with 34,000 ft timber, G. Armstrong. Dec. 11 — Emu, ketch, for Timaru, with 21,600 ft timber, Shadbolt aud Vanstone. Dec. 12 — Keera, s.s., for Dunedin and intermediate ports, with 3 boxes fruit, J. D. Garwood ; 40 cheese, Daly ; 6 cases fruit, Symons. Passengers — MessrsNixon,Weedon, Symons, Stilling, Miss Hewlings (2) Miss Le Cren (2) Miss TurnbuU, Masters Hall, Beswick (2) Hewlings.
The s.s. Airedale, froni Lyttelton, for Dunedin, put into Akaroa on the evening of the 11th inst., through stress of weather, resuming her voyage during the night. The Challenge, schooner, and Emu, ketch, which had sailed for Timaru, also had to return to Akaroa through stress of weather.
