[BY SUBMARINE TELEGRAPH.] Wellington, Oct. 21, 8 p.m. The Rakaia arrived at Wellington at 7p m. She left Panama afc mid night on Sept. 21; experienced light S.E. trades to Opara ; where she arrived on Oct. 9, and left at 5 p.m. on the 10th ; had a succession of strong head winds and high seas during the voyage. The latest dates from Europe are to Sept. 2 ; via New York, Sept. 9. Passengers : For Wellington — R. Price, C. B. Wharton, A. Hath way, C. J. Powell, Dr Pearson, J. Anderson, Mrs Stewart. For Auckland — Dr Thornton, B. Thornton, W. G. Turrell. For Napier — E. Towgood, Capt Wright. For Otago— Cumine, Adams, L. Calcott, Miss Gascoigne, N. Haynes, C. Falkner. For Canterbury—Dr Fisher, Ilberti. For Melbourne — J. Justice, Capt Desboen, L. Davidson. For Sydney — Mrs Brasier nnd three children, Mr Saudi man, Miss Watts, Mr Harmer, J. A. Chanander, Dr Healey.
