Sir—The Paengaroa Football Club wishes to thank all these who helped to make their dance such a financial Special thanks are due to “The Te Puke Times” for free advertising, Mr. Baikie fo.substantially reducing the cost of the supper, and to Mesdames McDowell and Conway for excellent control ot the supper arrangements. As a result of the dance the sum of £lO is being paid to the Tauranga Hospital Board for W. Maddern’s expenses, and the balance, (£l2) will be placed in the Club’s Post Office Savings Bank account to be used only in the event of further serious injuries. The competition for the Box of Chocolates was won by Mr P. Kelly. B. McKenzie, Secretary.
