- SOME GOOD RETURNS Three Toa Toa pedigree Jersey cows are included in the December list of cows which have qualified for the certificate of record test made by the Department of Agriculture. All of these are the property of Mr W. J. Paul... A junior two-year-old, Ferncrest Aster, produced 517.381 b of fat in 365 days, and was third on the list for this class, the best heifer in which produced 579.011 b in 365 days. For mature cows, Mr Paul’s Lakeside Tilly produced 577.501 b in 365 days, and another, Carmen Sylvia, was credited with a production of 359.471 b in 298 days. All three animals mentioned were on twice-a-day milking.—Opotiki Herald.
