At a recent special meeting of the Tauranga County Council to consider the balance-sheet, Cr Lally referred to item £62 5/3, expenditure on Hairini bridge and embankment, To Puko riding, in the 1927 balance-sheet. Mr Briasoo pointed out that this section of tho highway was now included in Te Puke Riding. Cr Lally contended that Hairini bridge and embankment was not in Te Puke Riding.
