ENGLISH FUTURISTS
- Playgoers will "no doubt extend a warm welcome to the English Futurists who give an entertainment, in the Alliance Hall tonight.77*Thiß>>Hl |be athe third visit of this talented company to Te Puke, and on each of the previous occasions their performance had a large and appreciative audience. The programme for tonight will comprise laughable comedies, sketches, ballets and songs. At 'the head of the combination will be Mr Joe Brennan, a noted humorist who, as the principal comedian under the J. C. Williamson banner, kept Australian audiences rocking with laughter. Amongst the, items he will present will be I’m Out, “The Fisherman, ” and “ The Police Station.” Old acquaintances will be Cyril Northcote, Gus Daw.son, Ida Newton and others. The entertainment will be a bright and sparkling one, and can be honestly recommended. The box plan is now open at the Alliance Confectionery.
