CARLTON CLUB.

There was an attendance of ninety members at the club's green, and a enjoyable afternoon's sport took place. The principal event decided was the re-play of the Labour Day Tournament, which resulted in a wiii for Fookes. Attention was centred in the club's champion fours and keenly contested games resulted.

A new event has been instituted by the Carlton Club, to be known as' the Club's Challenge Pairs and Carlton Feathers. The Feathers are a donation by one of the Club members. The conditions governing the contest are that the Feathers can only be held for one week. Already six challenges are in, and 'the event is bound to create much interest. @> ss> ®
