SCULLING.

It is not generally known that among the competitors in the interservice sculling championship in France was Felton, who recently wrested the World's Professional Championship from Ernest Barry. In the race in France, Felton was defeated by the New Zealander, Hadfield. The blue riband of the World's Amateur Sculling is the Diamond Sculls set down for decision early in July next. There is a movement on foot among local oarsmen to send Hadfield home for that event. A Government promise has been made, but should that fall through local sports will spare no effort to enable the champion to attempt to gain fresh honours.
