One Way of Getting it Out.
Sam (on board ship to captain): P-P-P-P-P-lcase S-sssir!" "Oh, go away, I can't be bothered."
After trying to tell the crew for about an hour, he returned to the captain: "P-P-P-P-lease S-s-ssir!"
"Now," said the captain, "if yon can't get it out quicker than that, try singing it."
So the man began to sing in a tragic voioe: "Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind, the blooming cook's fell overboard and is twenty miles behind.
