TOCAL DILL Notice is hereby given that a Local Bill will be introduced into Parliament during the present Session thereof under the title of "The Auckland City Parks Improvement and Empowering Act, 1916:— The Objects of the said Bill are :— (a) To authorise the Auckland City Council for the purpose of improving and enlarging Victoria Park, to obtain the surrender of the existing Leasas of Lots 11 to 22, Patteson Street, Freeman's Bay, Auckland, and to secure fresh leases of such lots or any of them from the Auckland Harbour Board to the Council. (b) To eniable the Council to grant to any lessee or occupier of any of the above lots a lease of part of the Reserve at the Corner of Victoria and Wellesley Streets or of part of Lot 5 of Section 19, City of Auckland, situated in Customs Street West. (c) To validate an agreement between the eaid Council and Dayid Laurence Nathan relating, to the enlargement and improvement of Myers Park, in the City of Auckland, and to the dedication of Pitt Terrace, and of a new roadway adjoining Myers Park. The said Bill will be introduced into Parliament by and on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland. A Copy of the proposed Bill, with plans of the lands therein referred to, has been deposited at the Magistrate's Court, Auckland, and is there open for public inspection, as prescribed \\y the Standing Orders of the Hoiise of Representatives.
