KOMATA.

A pretty wedding took place at Komata on June _9th, when Mr T P Dickson, of Waihi, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Miss Rabena Berryman, second daughter of Mr'M Berryman, of Kornata. The ceremony was performed by the Very Rev. Father O'Reilly, of Thames. The bride, who wore a char a> ing dress of oretne ailk figured lustre trimmed with silk lace, pearls and chiffon to match, was attended by three bridesmaids, namely, Miss Dickson, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a very pretty dres3 of green silk shot lustre, with creme silk trimmings ; Miss Melda Berryman, pale blue and white silk stripe ; and Miss Mabel Smith all white with pale green sash. The bridegroom was attended by Mr T Palmer as groomsman. After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the Komata Hall, where a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of. The hall was. then cleared and a very pleasant social evening was spent, after which the newly-wedded couple left for their future home at Waihi. Amongst the ladies and gentlemen present were: Mrs M Berryman, mother of the bride, who wore a black and heliotrope gown with creme silk lace fichu ; Mrs F Perkins, fawn silk lustre ; Mrs Benney,black silk ; Mrs H Smith, black skirt, silk striped blouse ; Mrs C Lawn, silver grey lustre with silk and passementerie trimmings ; Mra J Dunn, black skirt, peacock green blouse trimmed with maize silk chiffon ; Mrs McKlnley, black, white Jace fichu; Miss Lawn, stylish fawn costume ; Miss Whelan, blue and white striped costume, white lace. Amongst the gentlemen present were Messrs Palmer, Johnstone, Perkins, N H Smith, Giveen, J Benney, C Liawn, B Lawn, B Noonan, W Luke, Jenkins, Brown, Somerville, McNicken, MeKiuley, Bnarkey, Benney, and the Masters Berryman ifourt. The presents to the happy couple were both numerous and co3tly. _
