Dear Obsbkvbb, — I warmly congratulate yon on the bold stand yon have taken re Sunday work at Waihi and Waitekauri. It is high time that this crying disgrace was pat an end to for ever. It seems to me that Mr James Russell knows no more about the necessary and unnecessary work in connection with the quartz-milk than a blind turkey knowß about Dick Seddon. If he were to poke Mb head into Waitekauri to-day and hear the horrible din, and see the numhei of men smothered in dust, putting in their seventh day while other people are going to church or taking it easy, I think he would blush with shame for his miserable arguments. — I am, etc., Nos-Suotay "Wobbek. — Waitekauri, June 13th, 1897.
