CHRISTMAS PRIZES.
IMPORTANT NOTICE. Despite the fact that 350 additional copies of the Observer were published to meet the anticipated rush of those anxious to take part in the Christmas Distribution, the demand was so great that at noon on Friday the office was sold out, and ever since we have been inundated with complaints from regular subscribers in town, up country, and at the Thames, who were unable to obtain the paper. Under the circumstances we see nothing for it but to reprint No. 1 Coupon in the present issue. This does no injustice to those who have got No. 1 Coupon, whilst it enables those who, through our want of foresight, were unable to get papers to procure them. Subscribers must, however, bear in mind that under uo circumstances M-ill this be repeated. In future we shall print what Aye, consider sufficient to meet the demand, and if subscribers fail to obtain the paper they must loose their chance. The Christinas Prize Drawing for no less than Twentypive Exceptionally Valuable Gifts will take place on Wednesday, 14th December, at 7.45 p.m., \uider the following kules, which should be carefully perused :— RULES. 1.
