— My visits are few and far between, hence no items for several weeks past. — The man Jagger, who recently raffled himself for two weeks hire — 2i members at 5s per week — is now in clover. — It is stated Mrs B. is shortly to be married to aMr Jones. They will make an excellent couple. — Mrs M. looks charming in her new green tartan dress. — Who was it that K. K. and H. had between, covered up in a large shawl, the other evening ? Four powerful " strong arms " to take a man home, eh ? — Miss It. is expected back from boardingschool in three months time, and will then be married "to Mr 8., a very smart young fellow. — Perhaps you may not believe in these intended "couplings," but as this is but a young settlement, it is only now the ladies are becoming fit for the vincuhnn matrimoni. -r— There is yet another en tajiis, viz., Mr A. to .Mrs W., a very charming and accomplished widow. — Dick Hall, who has been reducing his beard at the rate of about four bristles per week during the past six months, now has a clean face. Richard is himself again.
