The editor of the Saturday Advertiser having"been threatened with a criminal action for libel by Madame Lotti Wilmot irreverently chaft's that estimable lady, and after daring her to do her Avorst hursts into song to the tune of "My Son Tammy" Won't you let us out on bail ? Do, dear Lotti ; Do not send us all to gaol ; Don't dear Lotti. The 'Tizer long has boldly stood As guardife.ii of the public good ; And folks must have their mental food, Eh, dear Lotti ? Winks are quite as good as nods, Eh, dear Lotti Printers get enough of Quads, Eh, dear Lotti ? Call us ugly, wicked names, Say we must give jȣoce anix dames, Spurn us all, but spare owx frames, Do, dear Lotti. Jails are diamond-cracking schools, Eh, dear Lotti ? And thongh we're up in metal rules, Eh, dear Lotti ? And often have to use the stone, The galleys too, to us are known ; We don't want dungeons dark and lone, Dear, dear Lottif
