THE "OBSERVER" PRIZES. THIRD SERIES.— RESULT OF THE DRAWING.
The drawing for the Third Series of Prizes took place at the Observer Office on Tuesday evening in the presence of the usual Committee. There were 38iO sets of coupons, and the result was as follows : — FIRST PRIZE.— A beautiful Gold Watch in a morocco case, suitable for either a gentleman's or lady's wear. — Mrs. Gyde, Monnt-stxeet. SECOND PRIZE.— A valuable and very heavy Albert Chain of sterling silver, with a locket and. a dogwhistle attached. — Miss A. Dickson, Northcote. THIRD PRIZE.— A set of Gold Studs.— Mrs. Gattland, Coromandel. FOURTH PRlZE.— Chambers' Journal for 18S0. (Just published).— Mrs. M. Gibbons, Victoria-street, W. FIFTH PRlZE.— Parisian Clock and Alarum. — Miss Hitchens, Wakefleld-street. SIXTH PRIZE.— A Leather "Writing Desk, properly fitted with stationery and all essentials. — James Pook, Hakaru, Mangawai. SEVENTH PRIZE.— Pair of Vases for mantelpiece.— Thos. J. Warm, Manakau East. EIGHTH PRIZE.— Six Pots of Preserves.— Frank White, Upper Queen-street. NINTH PRlZE.— Three Novels by eminent authors.— Mrs. W. Payne, Cross-street. TENTH PRIZE.— A beautifully inlaid Card Box.— Annie Leyburn, Brighton, Parnell.
