Hoav shall we greet him, for he sayeth not ? His spotless shield hath neither dint nor blot. He loves not horses nor the racing sweep, , He loves not dining, nor the drinking deep. He loves not speechifying, shout, nor arch, Nor beat of drum, nor volunteers' quick marcli, And to crown all, if rightly I remember, 'Tis faintly whispered that —he has a temper.
