FRONT-PAGE STORY.
N.Z. ELECTION RESULT. ZREPORT IN AMERICAN PAPER. Under the heading, "Labor Victory Scored at Polls in New Zealand," the result of the recent general elections gained prominence on the front page of the Christian Science Monitor, "f Boston, U.S.A.
After giving the detailed result of the seats won, the report added: "The people of the Dominion gave theii support for the Socialistic program, -which the Government has been ste°r3ng towards for the last three years. The report appeared in the issue of the paper for Saturday, October 15, the late of the elections, but this is brought about, of course, by the fact that American time is well over 12 hours behind New Zealand time.
