BULL AMONG BUYERS.
SOME TENSE MOMENTS. SALE GALLERY CLEARED. JERSEY RUNS AMOK. There were some tense moments in the selling pavilion at the Claudelands Showgrounds during the Waikato Combined Breeders' Bull Fair, when a Jersey bull, which • was being offered for sale, twisted itself free from the attendants and hurdled the barrier separating tho sale ring from the public gallery.
The buying bench, which had proved lethargic during the afternoon sales, was suddenly electrified into br!sk ac tivity, and it was only a matter of seconds before the pavilion was void of buyers, with the bull triumphantly occupying the top gallery.
Tho animal, a 2-year-old beast, was finally secured after the auction had been delayed for 15 minutes.
