General situation: An anti-cyclone is still centred over the northern extremity of the Dominion and has increased somewhat in intensity. Pressure is, however, falling over South-eastern Australia and across the Tasman Sea.

Forecast: Light and variable winds with westerlies predominating and gradually freshening somewhat. Weather fair to fine. Cool night but mild day temperatures. Seas slight to moderate.
