RUGBY IN THAMES. MANUKAU RESERVES VISIT. FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. Tlic chief Rugby fixture at Rhodes Park to morrow will be the match between Manukau senior reserve team and a Thames rep. team. The visitors have a fine record and play a fast, open game, the type which delights spectators. Physical Training juniors will be pitted against another Thames junior team selected from the other teams in the competition. On Saturday' week the season in Thames will be brought to a close with the visit of the Barbarians’ and tho Auckland referees’ teams. A feast of football should be provided, and thcro seems little doubt but that the public will support the Union to the full. The Barbarians’ team will be tho same as that which play'ed Auckland, according to advice received from the secretary, so the game should bo “something out of the bag” for excitement and a grand and true exhibition of the code.
