TO-DAY'S FORECAST.

[By Telegraph.—Press Association] WELLINGTON, March 24. General inference: There has been little change in the situation. An anti-cyclone is centred far to the east and pressure is relatively low in the south-west Tasman Sea, but over New Zealand conditions are very uniform. Forecast: Light to moderate and variablo winds, with north-easterlies predominating. Weather mainly fine to cloudy, with some scattered and mainly light rains. Temperatures mild. Seas slight to moderate.
