MASONIC.

INSTALLING MEETING. THE CORINTHIAN LODGE. VISIT OF DISTRICT OFFICERS. Members of the Masonic fraternity from all parts of the Auckland province assembled at the Masonic Hall, Martha Street, last evening, when the annual installation meeting of the Corinthian Lodge took place, the'Master for tho ensuing year being Wor. Bro. F. H. Hall, who was elected to the position for a second term. The District Grand Master, R. Wor. Bro. C. T. Major, and the District Grand Secretary, Wor. Bro. C. 11. Jenkins, of Auckland, attended, and wero accorded an enthusiastic welcome. Those assisting in the ceremony wero Wor. Bros. T. N. Clayton, R. S. Boden, N. Jonasscn, R. E. Wentworth, R. G. Pranglcy and W. M. Hunter. The musical portion was in the capable hands of Bro H. B. Hughes. Instructive addresses were given by the District Grand Master, V. Wor. Bro. F. E. McCullough and Wor. Bro. C. H. Jenkins. Presentation. During the evening a very handsomo jewel was presented to Wor. Bro. J. E. Phillips by the District. Grand Master in appreciation of the services rendered to the Lodge for several years by him. Officers Appointed. The following arc the officers for tho year: —W.M., F. H. Hall; S.W., N. B. Middlebrook; J.W., E. IT. Johnston; Chaplain, E. Edwards; Treasurer, P. JHosldng; Secretary, T. McCarroll; D. of C., A. T. Coxliead; S.D., R. F. McRae; J.D., G. L. McKenzie; 1.G., S.
