"Ways of the North: Life in tlio Cabin Com)try," is the title of a delightful New Zealand article by Kofur Hyde on the romantic Kauri Land, the charming region which is well-known as the "Winterless North." Another sparkling feature is the "Witchery of Waikareimoana, Where Lovieliness is Unspoiled," by 0. N. Gillespie, wfto does full justice to the beautiful lake. In "Football Facts and Fancies," Ken Alexander lets his merry humour have full play in letterpress and drawings. Ernest E. Bush tells New Zealandcrs about their "New Fairyland" in tho Eglinton and HoUyford Valleys, now served by the Eailway Department's motor buses. Arnold Gozar concludes his w.cll-written exciting story, "Alpheim," masterfully illustrated by M. Matthews. Other features include excellent verse by New Zealand writers, a breezy chat on "Books and Authors," a well-informed review of sport, and a very helpful section for women. About 60 pictures are distributed through the 64 pages.
