TOTAL OF £2560. INCLUDING HOUSE PROPERTY. AN EXPLANATION MADE. [By Telegraph.—Press Association.! AUCKLAND, J'uly 30. An announcement that the price paid by the Government for radio station IZM, Manurcwa, was £2500, has been made by the acting-Minister for Broadcasting, Mr. P. Jones, to the Labour newspaper, the Standard. The Minister explained that the amount original]}' offered for the plant and cfjuipment was £IBOO. The purchase price covered not only the plant and equipment, but also about half an acre of land and a residence on it.
