WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. “That avc express our keen disappointment Avith the basic wage as fixed by the Arbitration Court,” says a resolution carried unanimously by the executive council of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of Ncav Zealand. The resolution adds that the rates are inadequate to support a family of five, and “We are astounded that the Court, in fixing such a rate, should place the basic workers of Ncav Zealand on such a low subsistence level.”
