UNION’S ANNUAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. ; The annual meeting of the Thames Sunday Schools Union was held on Monday evening in the Baptist Sunday School, Mr. H. F. Purnell presiding over a fair attendance. The report and balance-sheet, presented by Mr. Riley, showed a satisfactory financial position. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. H. F. In the absence of Commandant Adams, Miss Adams read an interesting address on “Methods of Sunday School Teaching,” and afterwards demonstrated the value of drawing and object lessons in Sunday School work. A dainty supper was served by the teachers of the Baptist Sunday School.
