The Water Supply.

RESERVOIRS FULL. POSITION NOW SATISFACTORY. “Everything is now satisfactory,” stated Mr C. L. Grange, Borough Commissioner, to-day in reply to a question regarding the water supply.

The Waikiekie reservoir is full and the Block reservoir will be in a similar stat e shortly. When that is full the Waiokaraka supply will be augmented.

All-' consumers in the town and at Tararu have now a. supply of water which, if properly conserved, should sufflc e for domestic purposes from now on.

The work of cutting the open race for the permanent supply of water for domestic and power purposes is being put in hand immediately.
