POSTAL OFFICER CHARGED.
ALLEGED FALSE DECLARATION. (Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April ». At tlie Police Court Alexander J.inton, aged 43. employed at the moneyorder and Savings Bank department of the Post Office, was charged with having made a false declaration on the withdraw! receipt of Cl9O in the name of E(hvard Knowles. He was remanded till April 10th, bail being allowed in £2UO. The surety was immediately provided.
