OLYMPIAD.
FRENCH SUPPORT. GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY LIMITED. (A. and N. Z. Cable.) PARIS, June 1. The Financial Committee of the Chamber of Deputies has limited the Government subsidy for the! 1923 Olympic Games to 6,000,-uO francs. The French Olympic Committee insists on a minimum of 15,000,000 francs, and has sent a letter to M. Poincare stating that unless the subsidy is increased it might be obliged to inform the International Olympic Committee that it is impossible to hold the games in Paris.
