SCULLING.

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. i, (Press Association.) BLENHEIM, June 5. A match for the sculling championship of New Zealand and a purse of £2OO resulted in a win for Hannan. Hannan was obviously a class ahead of Wells. When half the distance had been covered Wells informed the umpire that his slide had broken, and he and his boat were picked up by the launch. Hannan covered the course alone in 21.14.

The attendance was poor on account of the wretched weather.
