FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
. WAIKATO LODGE 1.0.0. F. The Loyal Waikato Lodge of oddfellows, held a meeting last evening in the Matatoki hall. Twelve members left Thames at 6.30 by Bvo. A. White’s motor van. Bro. W. J. Neels D.G.M. and Bro. T. Aitken P.P.G.M. were present and addressed the members on the benefits of the order. They urged the members to use their individual efforts which were better than pounds of propaganda. The D.G.M. Bra Neels gave the young members their first degree in an 'efficient manner. There were 25 members present and they expressed the hope that further meetings would bo held there- Bro. A. Frisken P.G. of the Loyal Haurak 5 Lodge was present and addressod the. members. The honours of the order were given' to the D.G.M. W. J. Neels and P.P. G.M. Bro. Aitken, when they entered the Lodge- Bro. Neel acted as N.G. and Bro. Aitken P.P.G. occupied tho V.G. chair.
