AN EASY VICTORY. (Press Association). MASTERTON, August v2. A match between Wairarapa ant) New South Wales resulted in a win for the latter by 34 to 5. Wairarapa were soon in trouble. Tho visitors attacked most of the spell, but Wairarapa occasionally swooped down on the Welshmen's territory. Nothling always saved, and tho visitors -always had the upper hand. Tho second spell Avas noted for a brilliant display of back play, and some; very fine forward rushes, from one of which Bacon scored for the local team, and Torrance* converted. Mingay, for the New South Wales, did some fine kicking. His record for tho New Zealand tour so far is ten goals kicked out of twelve attempts. Tries w T ere scored for 1 New South Wales by Stanley, Wallace, Wogan, Mingay and Louden. Mingay converted three and Louden one.
