BENEFIT TOURNEY.

A SUCCESSFUL EFFORT.

SEVEN-A-SIDE FOOTBALL

Tho first requisite for the. success of tho benefit tournament on Saturday—fine weather—being assured, those responsible for the fixture worked hard to make the afternoon an enjoyable one. A section of Baillie Street, . alongside the High School grounds, had been closed by mean;; .. 1 . .;rd-es, and the ticket collectors V..J..J kept busy. Very punctually tho school matches were begun, and then, with the arrival of the procession, the crowd surged into the ground. The procession was not an ambitious one, but it created much amusement.
