Not yet to Hand NEW YORK, October 6 The New York Tim**' Washington, correspondent states that the Austrian peace proposal has not yet been received by the State Department. Mr. Lansing and other j>fficialß have declined to comanent until the official matter is received. No enthusiasm is manifested by American and Allied officials over Austria's action, which i® considered merely a continuiance of the TeuTsonic peace drive. The correspondent adds: The attitude of the officials towards the Maximilian, peace^peech in the Reichstag is simlar io that of the Austrian move.-^C: and N,Z. Cable.
