WASHINGTON, January 14 Mr. E. N. Hurley, president of fHe United States Shipping"Board ', lias announced that definite steps have been taken by America and her Allies to co-ordinate shipping. The United States controller ha® been appointed tio co-operate with the ! London, Paris and Rome controllers, and speed up loadings and embarkaI tions. ;
It is also announced that shipyard activity is almost beyond "belief. Forty-one vessels aggregating ' 327,----152 tone will be ready in January and'•-February.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
