There waiy a good attendance at tho extensive buildings of the Thames Fishermens' Co-opertitivo Society this afternoon- when the formal opening ceremony took place.

A splendid job has been made of the building acdl plant and the highest praisa is due to the members of the society for their enterprise and energy and to the following: Messrs Harvey and Kidd, who erected the building; Mven amd 00., who installed tho plant; J. Pratt, who laid tho foiubidatic'iis; .iudld and Cb., who installed the water power, etc.; and A. Diamond, who fixed up the freezing room.

The opening ceremony was performed by the Mayor (Mr H. Lowe) and proved very successful, the owners reviving many corgratulations and wishes for their future success.
