State Coal Mine.
■AN, IMPIEINDiING iSTBIKEi. (Per United Press Association.) GfIEIYMOUTH, May 14. Three men were dismissed last week at the State mine extension works, no reason, (being gLvien. The Union passecT a resolution dtemanding the reinstatement pending an enquiry and threatening to give notice if not granted. Several interviews took place with out effectt and the ..v\try have notified tha/t they will cease work in 21 days. The seciretairy of the Union says that no fault can ba found with the men's work, but the engineer complains of the way they spend their money.
