An Interesting Lecture.
Last night in St. James' Hall, Uev. James Milne, Mi.Au, gave his lecture "iFrom, Englamd to the Antipockts," The lecture was illustrated by many beautiful lime-light, views and; a great attraction -were ihe records of a fine gjiaimiaphonei. Places of intercut in London, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney were shewm on the screen, and briefly explained by the lecturer as likewise those en route swcih i as Gibraltar', 'MJaltai, Genoa, NWrtes, Port iSiaidi, Pyramids and Suez CannK There was ar igood attendanoe and « pleasant evening! was spent. A collection! in behalf of a> fund to sec)ure belter sfiiating 1 aoaommodiaition for rhe hall was generously responded to. After the letctuir© steps were taken lo inaiugurate the Young Peoples' Association for the enswinig winter h-3S-sion, whidh' is hoped may prove as entertaining and! instructive as Nst.
