NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 27. in the Supreme Court to-day, E. E. Kernahan, J. P. Honan, and JVD. Pope were charged with breaking and entering at Stratford. Justice Oonolly directed the jury that there was no evidence against Honan, who was acquitted. After ten minutes retires ment the jury also acquitted Kernahan and Pope on the ground that there was no criminal intent, the affair being the outcome of a drunken spree.
