At the meeting of thw Meat and Milk Inspection Committee last night Mr Jephson reported as follows:—The following milkmen have signified their willingness to have their herds tested by th c Government Veterinarian, and I would suggest that the Committee apply, again for that officer's services. It would be well for any dairymen who wish to take any advantage of this opportunity to hand in' their names at once. This will apply to all herds, whether they are used for milk supply or for butter making:— Names agreeing to test No. of cows tiugene Hale, Matatoke .. 12 W.
