RESIGNATION OF MR H. G. SETH SMITH.

Wellington, This day. MrH. G. Seth Smith, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, has resigned, and will retire from office at the end of next month. Family bereavement, together with his own impaired eyesight, are believed to be the reasons for the resignation. Mr Smith intends to leave the colony and take up his residence in England.
