Tbe hearing of argument in the case of the Sydenbatn licensing election, which it is fiouEht to declare void, was taken in Banco this morniDg before Justice Denniston. The case is exciting considerable interest, the Court being well filled with the public, among whom are a number of ladies. Late a. A Btrong Bar is engaged in the Syden- ' ham licensing case. Messrs Harper, Bickerton, Fisher, and T. W. Stringer appear for the plaintiffs, and Sir Robert Stout and Messrs Coygill and Widdowson for the defendants. The case is likely to last all day.
