The Mayor of Auckland and other visitors from that city were entertained at a dinner lsst evening, at which there were over a hundred present. The Mayor of Auckland, in reply to the toast" Success to Auckland," said he hoped to see the branch line of railway from Taranaki connected with the general Main Trunk line.
The Bowling team leave to-night by steamer for Auckland.
