At Wagga Wagga Edwards completed the feat of walking fifty miles, doing the distance in nine hours; and fourteen minutes—six minutes less than the prescribed time. The last mile was walked in eight and three-quarter minutes. At the conclusion he was examined by Doctor Wren, who expressed a desire to see the , physical condition 6f the man after such a performance. Dr. -Wren stated that Edwards' condition was" astonishing after such a feat, %tnd ; shpwtd him to be possessed of a remarkable cqhstitutipn'.
