i Thirty-three Native Ploughmen ; Arrested. ' Sixty-five now in Custody. The Government received intelligence from Major Tuke that he has arrested this morning 33 native ploughers. Directly after the arrival of the Hinec moa she will be at once sent back to bring these down along with another 17 already arrested, and lodge them in Wellington gaol. ; Major Poberts arrested the first batch of ploughers at W aihi. Eleven of these will be lodged in Wanganui gaol for the present. ; ' Other gangs of ploughers willjfollow up the work and also be arrested. It is expected Titokowaru and a large party of his men will commence ploughing shortly. He will bo arrested fclso with about 150 followers, The total number of prisoners now in custody is 65.
