MAGNETIC MINE SET OFF

Australian Vessel HONG KONG. September 27. The Australian naval vessel Strahan exploded a magnetic mine off Stanley Point, Hong Kohg, on Tuesday. Some of the officers and men who were on deck were injured. Details of casualties are not yet available.

The Strahan returned to port under her own steam.
